Partner FAQ
The questions every venue asks before they join.
What does it cost to join?
No setup charge. You pick a yearly partner tier: Partner $399, Partner Plus $799, or Partner Premier $1,499. Every tier loads its full price back into your account as BarTopTees store credit each year, so the year pays you back in product. Your core logo cleanup is free; if you want three designs fully worked up by our art team, the Graphics Package is $300 — and it is included free with Partner Premier.
What can I spend the store credit on?
Just about anything: wholesale orders for your venue, gifts for your patrons, gear for your staff, or purchases for yourself — apparel, drinkware, and branded merch across the BarTopTees catalog.
How much do I earn on sales?
It depends on your partner tier: Partner earns 10%, Partner Plus 15%, Partner Premier 20% of every sale. On a $27.99 tee that is $2.80, $4.20, or $5.60. Earnings are tracked automatically in your vendor portal and paid monthly.
Can I change tiers later?
Yes — you can move up or down at your yearly renewal. Most bars start at Partner or Partner Plus and step up once they see their sales come in.
When and how do I get paid?
Sales are tracked automatically in your vendor portal at portal.bartoptees.com — we email you your login when your store launches. Payouts run monthly.
Do I hold inventory or hit minimums?
Never. Every order is printed when it's bought and shipped straight to your customer.
How fast do orders ship?
Fast-lane styles we stock in our shop ship in about 3 days. Everything else is made to order and ships in about 9 days.
Can I add more products later?
Yes — free, any time. Reopen this book, choose “I already have a store — add products” on the last page, and pick away.
Can you just create the products for me?
Absolutely. On the last page choose “Create them for me,” upload your logos, and describe what you're after — we'll build the products from this same catalog and send proofs. Same book, same quality, no work on your end.
My logo is just a photo or a rough file — can you still use it?
Yes. Send what you have — we check every logo and clean it up (crisp edges, transparent background, print-ready size) before anything is built, and your core logo cleanup is free. If a logo needs a full redraw, we'll tell you before we start.
What if a customer uses a promo code?
Your earnings are calculated on the sale after the discount, so promotions are shared between your store and us.
Do my staff's purchases earn payouts?
No — employee purchases and wholesale orders don't earn partner payouts. Your customers' orders do.
What if my yearly payment fails?
We email you a link to update your payment method and your store stays live during a grace period. When the payment clears, your tier's credit reloads.
